Plemsti Progenitors Invade Spain

I assume you know what a progenitor is but you may not understand what a Plemsti is. A Plemsti is any member of the Plemmons or Amstutz families that put down roots in Kingsport, Tennessee in the late 1980s.

Everyone struggled with the plural of Amstutz having a “z” and an “s” at the end of the name. Over time, Amsti came to represent the plural from of Amstutz. As the Plemmons and Amstutz couples turned into families the two families melded into a single entity know as the Plemsti. The Plemsti kids behave more like siblings than friends and adopted the Plemsti kids moniker years ago. Recently, the Plemsti parents adopted the name Plemsti Progenitors.

This blog will document the trek of these four friends across Spain. We’ll see how this goes.

  1. Love the blog!! Marvelous pictures. I’m with Kim and her love of squares…and European doors!! Your blog and pictures took me back to a trip years ago with the DB Band and the Tilsons.
